Most supervisors are promoted because they were good at their technical job, then left to work out people management alone. This course gives new and aspiring supervisors the practical skills for their first years in the role: setting expectations, planning work, delegating, giving feedback, managing under-performance, handling conflict and staying within labour law. Role-plays use situations participants actually face.
