Reliability-Centred Maintenance
Use RCM and failure analysis to choose the right maintenance for each asset, improving reliability and cutting cost.
- 5 days
- Classroom · Live virtual · In-house
- Afriskora Certificate of Completion
Course overview
Too much maintenance wastes money while too little causes breakdowns. Reliability-centred maintenance is a structured way to decide what each asset needs, based on its functions, failure modes and consequences. This course teaches RCM analysis, FMEA, condition monitoring options, root cause failure analysis and reliability metrics, with a facilitated RCM study on a real system.
Who should attend
- Reliability and maintenance engineers
- Maintenance managers
- Asset managers
- Senior technicians
What you will be able to do
- Apply the RCM decision process
- Conduct FMEA on critical systems
- Select condition-based, time-based and run-to-failure strategies
